More than just a ride-hailing app – Careem is a digital platform, and Careem Food will combine the extensive restaurant-listings from the recently-acquired Round Menu database with Careem’s cutting-edge technology and transport capabilities, to create a simplified delivery service. With major financial investment allocated and an ambition to be present beyond the 14 countries in which Careem is present, the forthcoming Food App is set to have a significant impact and disrupt the restaurant industry in multiple positive ways.

Accordingly, we are now looking for exceptional people to help bring Careem Food to the region and live the values of Careem as part of our mission to simplify and improve lives and build an awesome organisation that inspires, standing as a world-class institution from the region, for the region.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• You will be the mission critical leader in the city, working closely with the GM toguarantee supply and leverage deep analytical insights to deliver high impact results.
• What’s more, you are on a clear path to graduate to GM someday!].
• Analytics and data drive everything we do: transportation, strategy, decisions and people.
• We have two networks we are trying to build: users and drivers (Captains).
• In the Careem world, you will own supply of Captains in your city. You will focus onbuilding the largest fleet, getting the most out of it and ensuring the quality of the users
• Your world will be incredibly diverse: you will design innovative processes to onboard
• Captains, manage utilization, ensure Captain satisfaction and lead from the front on this exciting growth journey to build the fastest growing company in the region.

• Passion for Analytics: great analytical thinker with deep data analysis to help design solutions and optimize fleet utilization.
• Hunger to get things done: Super strong project management skills, with a focus on proactively finding practical solutions to problems.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Technical + Business Degree
• 5-10 years of experience, ideally with experience in tech businesses.
• Strong analytic and quantitative acumen.
• Leadership skills.
• Stakeholder management and communications.
• Understanding of organizational design and operating systems.
• Balance of good strategic and operational skill sets.
