General Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Development and implement health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Ensure HSE SOPs are as per the industry norms and also adhere to the company policies while designing and maintaining the systems.
• Design smoke detection and fire prevention plan for all existing and new sites and initiate process for procurement of required equipment and its installation.
• Equip each site with appropriate equipment to detect and respond to fire and any other anticipated hazards.
• Supervise maintenance and orderly functioning of the fire prevention equipment.
• Conduct regular surveys of each site for hazard identification.
• Assess safety hazards and risks and take appropriate measures to manage the risks.
• Ensure that the new standard is timely adopted.
• Conduct training sessions and drills for staff on the proper use of HSE equipment and response to disasters.
• Raise Emergency Response Teams (ERT) from among staff volunteers for each site.
• Conduct First Aid training for staff.
• Maintain all HSE records and publishes monthly performance reports.

• Bachelors, preferably in an Engineering discipline.
• Certification in Occupational HSE /Process Safety/ Risk Management from an accredited body, NEBOSH IGC – Level III will be preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar role as given above.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
