Responsible for day to day supervising and coordinating of Import and Export.
IMPORTS:
1. Cover insurance for all imported material and get the invoice after shipment arrival for payment of duty/taxes.
2. EIF filing in WeBoc for every imported material B/L & invoice wise.
3. Vendor correspondence regarding shipment terms/documentation & lead time.
4. Opening L/Cs & Bank contracts with amendments (If required) for the import shipments.
5. Manage documents for vendor payments (remittances) which has due as per agreed payment terms.
6. Compute landing cost of imported material as well as for the CAPEX items.
7. Verify duty/tax calculation for all imported material.
8. Arrange Ocean/Air freight from forwarder in case of FOB/Ex-works shipment.
9. Check & Verify clearing agent bills for payment.
10. Manage all record/documentation of imported shipments.
11. Correspondence with banks/Clearing agents/forwarders/vendors
12. Manage logistics of all imported goods (including vehicle/lifter/crane etc.)
13. Provide documents to finance for ship shortages claims.
14. Provide GD/Challan to compliance for Tax filing.
15. updated with Customs regulations/SROs etc.
EXPORTS:
1. Freight negotiation/arrangement for export shipments.
2. Form-E filing in WeBoc for the export shipment
3. Making & arranging shipping documents for Export.
4. Correspondence with Banks/Shipping line/forwarder/clearing agent/transporter.
5. Correspondence with the customer regarding documentation & shipment update.
