Background:
EY has been contracted by the
Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan to implement the EU Promotion of
Human Rights in Pakistan programme. The principal beneficiary of the programme
is the Federal Ministry of Human Rights. The Ministry of Human Rights is also
responsible for the management of the programme.
The programme implementation team are
seeking a Junior Associate Digital Media
Graphic Design & Video Officer to
work with Communications and Awareness Raising Team during the programme
Execution phase. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide
range of processes and tasks related to upgrading and managing the design &
content of the social media assets of the MoHR.
Key Functions/Responsibilities: Design creatives according to project goalsCoordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as posters, illustrations, designed posts for digital media handles and podcasts, infographics, etc. Support in establishing web & social media presence of the Ministry of Human RightsWork to improve presence of Key institutions and stakeholders along with Programme identity/brandMaintain and manage a design digital media graphics, videos, posts, etc. according to project goalsManage the creation of all designed digital content that will be uploaded on to the MoHR official web-based platforms or in Print mediaLiaise with the Digital media team to ensure synergies of content created as part of the project.Stay up-to-date with digital design technologies and latest technical trends to make work more efficient.Suggest and implement design promotional methods Suggest strategies and methods for improvement

Demonstrating/safeguarding ethics and integrity in all work-related interactionsActing as a team player and helping to facilitate a good team working atmosphereCommunicating effectively with the programme team and external stakeholdersPromoting learning and knowledge management/sharing is the responsibility of every staff member on the programme Required Skills and Experience: 2 years of experience as Digital Media Specialist or Digital Marketing Manager or similar roleAt least 1 years of experience with visual communication methodsBSc degree in Mass Communications, Graphic design, Digital Marketing, Digital media Mass Communications/ Media Studies. Communication Design or relevant fieldGood knowledge of Digital Media Designing tools (e.g Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Audacity or other media editing software)Experience with content management, additional qualification in web design or animation is a plusProven graphic design & illustration, animation skillsAbility to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines; Ability to implement effective communication to masses on HR issuesProficiency in written and oral English languageExcellent social and networking skills Awareness & experience in Human rights related work will be an added asset Fluency in both English and Urdu is required. Any additional Pakistani regional language would be an asset.
