A well reputed Real Estate & Construction Company is urgently looking for Manager Transport for its Project at Superhighway Karachi.

Professional Qualification: BE (Mechanical / Automobile)

Professional Experience: 15 years with last 5 years in similar capacity.

Age Limit: 40 to 45 Years

Fresh Retired Armed Forces Officers equivalent to Major / Lieutenant Commander (EME Branch) with relevant knowledge, skills and abilities will be preferred.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities:

• The main focus of the role will be to assume responsibility for managing end-to-end transport requirements of the company.
• Maintaining standardized policies and procedures of operations and maintenance across all business units and locations to meet business requirements.
• Performing regular transport audits to ensure compliance and provide month end/quarterly reports.
• Optimize scheduling and logistics, enforce Safety standards, improve operational efficiency and control costs.
• Assisting in commercial and contractual negotiations.
• Making sure vehicles are properly maintained
• Inspecting vehicles
• Arranging repairs and routine maintenance
• Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications
• Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
• Maintaining and completing accurate records
• Organize driver training, make daily operational reports for management, etc.
