IHT is currently seeking a senior expert to join our team for High Pressure Cogeneration for Sugar Sector in Pakistan as Project Manager. The position will be responsible for the overall management of the project by providing overall strategic direction, developing work plans, and managing project resources (technical assistance, training, commodity etc.) for the timely and successful completion of project work plan and achievement of project goals and objectives. The position will also perform related consulting work including report writing, and other analytic tasks as required. The position will be involved in,

Assist project director and manager in day to day management of the project
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Liaison with the stakeholders in sugar sector and with relevant public sector
Coordinate with project consortium partners
Organization of meetings, workshops, seminars and administrative controls
Organizing trainings and study tours, managing all logistics of travel, visits, etc.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration
20 years of experience in,
Project Management in Agriculture / Agro-processing sector
Knowledge of project financing operations;
Experience in dealing with public and private entities;
Must have experience in project management, report writing, developing high-quality technical documentation, and other analytical tasks
Exceptional analytical skills, creative problem solving, and commercial awareness
Manage multiple priorities and quickly adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment
Take responsibility and work independently, as well as coordinate team efforts
Location
The position is based in Lahore, with intermittent travel to other cities in Pakistan.
