Position Related:

The resource will be responsible development, testing and maintenance of Middleware and front end applications. The resource will be a key player for development and quality assurance, working closely with architect, Operation and business team.

The candidate should be a resource with strong technical background and proven track-records within software development & quality assurance.

The candidate will be responsible for materializing the high demands of the business in accordance with the enterprise architecture and governance framework.

Goals

Development and Quality Assurance of applications/services

Perform Functional and Non Functional testing.

Ability to deliver in a fast paced and challenging environment focused on customer satisfaction and centricity.

Ability to work under pressure

Help team members in their team avoiding conflicts by adhering to Telenor Policies & Procedures

Should have aptitude towards researching and developing new tools and techniques with solution oriented approach

Your typical day at work

Develop and Quality Assurance of web services

Automation and Load testing

Raise flag where delays are encountered or risk is identified

Follow up and make sure that correct software versions, infrastructure and configuration are set up in time before testing is planned to start

Perform work like a team player

Develop excellent business knowledge and apply it

Work proactively following self-driven approach

Ensure Telenor Way and Values are followed in day to day work

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelors in IT/Comp. Science

Work experience:

Strong hands-on experience in test automation both at service and web level.

Hands on development experience in the following:

Java (Spring Boot) OR Net (C#, ASP.Net, React, HTML/CSS)

Experience in any of following tools will be a plus: Eclipse, Selenium, JMeter, SPOCK Framework

Hands on AWS technology

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills with attention to detail

Experience with Web App and Web Services and development process(es).

Strong team player, with the ability to contribute to team efforts and look for “Best-of-bread” solutions

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas

Hands on experience in developing & testing of integrating Applications on different platforms.

Strongly Hands-on with Object Oriented Programming Concepts, automation and development

Knowledge of DevOps, Agile and SAFE practices

Hands-on with system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies

Strong analytical skills and solution driven approach
