Assistant Manager, Student Success Brand Strategist

Job Description

 

This is a key position within the Marketing and Communications Department which aims to market

internally and project externally the success achieved by students while at Habib University and after

graduation.

The ideal candidate will be great at building networks within and outside of organizations and

navigate various student, alumni and employer groups.

They will be able to identify the right profiles which need to be featured and how to showcase the

achievements and successes of individuals and groups.

They will be great at planning, strategizing and managing student and alumni talent.

For this position, the candidate should be creative, strategic and comfortable working with a team.

Ultimately, the candidate should be able to effectively connect our brand with our students, alumni,

companies and other benefactors.

Candidates who show initiative, are self-starters and work efficiently will be preferred.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following

functions:

  • Devise marketing plans for assigned segments for the entire year with detailed quarterly

and monthly breakups

 

  • Build relationships with relevant departments that work with students

 

  • Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities

 

  • Keep up-to-date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns

 

  • Liaise with other teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency

 

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Head of Marketing or Manager, Digital

Communications

 

 

REQUIRED JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Required Bachelor's Degree in (Mass) Communications, Marketing or related field(s)

Qualification and/or equivalent experience/training.

Google AdWords certification

Facebook certification

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in media, corporate, academic setting or

digital management role set in a marketing context.
Required

  • Adept at handling social media and website independently

Experience • Creative and analytic thinking skills

  • Experience implementing and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
  • Hands on experience with online platforms, marketing tools and practices
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
