Job Purpose

• To ensure smooth running of the production activities for timely supply of products to commercial.
• To contribute in the growth and profitability of GSK through the processing of manufacturing (Dispensing, Granulation, Compression & Coating), minimizing waste and variation in processes, in accordance with the GSK code of cGMP, QMS, EHS and local legislation within the available resources of the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Discussion of daily planning and work schedule with Department Head.
• To supervise the operation involved in the following areas:

Dispensing Granulation Compression Coating

• To ensure the follow up of production activities as per given production schedule by Planning department in order to achieve site 98% ASP target.
• Support other functions by providing necessary help, and good customer services to relevant departments.
• Maintain cordial relationships with all stakeholders within the organization for fulfillment of the site goal.
• To contribute and participate with OE team in achieving site OE targets and in implementing Vision Factory Future State Model.
• To supervise the manufacturing operations in Production Department.
• Checks and maintain the all relevant records of manufacturing section.
• To maintain and ensure the delivery of batch related documents in a timely manner.
• To prepare and complete all documentation applicable to dispensing and manufacturing by receiving, checking, and reconciliation of materials.
• To maintain SAP data postings (Inventory transactions, labor hour distribution).
• To maintain standard operating procedure, as necessary coordinate with Engineering for preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
• To gain professional and technical knowledge by attending EHS, QMS and GMP trainings at the site and through my learning.
• To ensure compliance with GMP and QMS within department by applying GQPs, GQGs and GQMPs.
• To provide in house trainings of SOPs & BMRs to relevant staff.
• To ensure that QMS is in-place and in-use in concerned area of responsibility.

• Problem solving and Performance management within the business area that they are responsible for:

• Understanding the strategic direction for the area and ensure tactical elements are converted to monthly plan with clear KPIs.Deploying and ensuring delivering to achieve continuous improvements in performance to meet future business needs.
• Fully deploying performance management process within area ensuring accurate and timely data is used
• Proactively solving problems using the GPS principles to eliminate recurring safety, quality and productivity issues. Considering patterns or repeating issues for true root cause resolution.
• Ensuring the area returns to standard after a safety, quality or performance/output deviation/incident in a controlled manner.

• Process management by creating and confirming standards (against the 4Ms, Material, Manpower, Method, Measurement) required to manage safety, quality, compliance and output.

• Has responsibility for ensuring audits are carried out and responded to at the required frequency.
• Ensuring alignment to the tiered accountability meetings within the area and on site. Following through on resulting actions in a timely fashion.
• Input to GSK systems e.g. SAP, Workday etc
