What is Chief of Growth and Strategy Officer?
The Chief of Growth and Strategy officer leads a team to have an immediate impact on the immediate revenues by directly managing the customer lifecycle and growth but also closely work with the CEO to advise him on the long-term strategy for the company.
The role directly reports to the CEO of JazzCash and has 2 people directly reporting into it with an extended team of 10 team members.
What does the Chief of Growth and Strategy Officer do?
Maximize end to end customer lifecycle starting from customer targeting, onboarding, engagement, retention, and deactivation.
Leverage data and analytics to improve quality customer targeting, conversion to onboarded customers, engagement (usage uplift and diversification), and retention.
Work closely with the CEO to not only advise him on the strategy but also helping him organize his time and focus on what brings value to the company.
Identify, lead and develop new ventures beyond the core business
Work closely with the executive team and ensures compliance with project related requirements, quality standards and timelines.
Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with teams for project status updates and resolution of escalated issues;
Conducts analysis of generated data and highlights differences.
Engages with multi-functional teams for special assignments and ensures timely achievement of set goals.
Be the interface of VEON group for key strategic presentation and design these presentations and also represent the company in external meetings/conferences and meet key partners.
Work closely with the CFO for the strategy exercise and budget cycle
What are we looking for and what does it take to be the Chief of Growth and Strategy Officer?
Master’s degree in business or strategy with 10 years of experience, inclusive of 5 years in a CxO role.
5 years of project management experience in a relevant digital service organization.
Detailed knowledge of the digital economy and comprehensive knowledge of product development.
Adequate knowledge of budgeting and planning.
Strong Communicator with the ability to negotiate and solve problems.
Proven track record of strong analytical and decision-making skills.
