We are looking for a data analyst to join our data team. We are expecting an analytical mindset that would formulate/answer the right questions needed to answer and come up with a conclusion for decision makers and appropriate stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Formulating the right and associated questions needed to reach an analysis objective
• Wrangling data:
  • Gathering required data from multiple data sources or data warehouse by writing the required SQL queries.
  • Transforming data for features/KPIS needed for such an analysis
  • Assessing required dataset prior analysis
  • Cleaning data if needed
• Generate strategies for EDA (Exploratory data analysis)
• Identifying patterns, trends and correlations in data sets
• Documenting analyses in a nifty way is a must
• Collaborate alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
• Present findings to management to guide business decision

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Bachelor of computer science or related field
• R and python with at least one language with strong foundation as primary core skill
• Deep knowledge of Data analysis libraries (i.e Pandas, numpy, tidyverse)
• Proficient of one visualization libraries (i.e ggplot2, plotly, bokeh)
• Good knowledge in writing and understanding complex SQL and working with large data sets
• Working experience with Tableau or related tool
• Scripting / Automation for generated datasets if needed.
• Statistics, Machine learning, Geospatial data knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication and organization skills
