Job Description
Data Analyst / Scientist will analyze data and develop reports to optimize the consumer marketing and lead generation performance through deep data analysis using Business Intelligence software such as Microsoft BI, Tableau or equivalent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Scientist/Analyst will analyze data & create reports for the development, maintenance, evolution and performance of digital marketing strategies to optimize marketing and lead generation performance. This role will leverage digital marketing channels to optimize lead generation efforts through deep data analysis.
Create customized reports for consumer interest patterns and shape the data to be utilized for digital marketing funneling stage identification.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work with management to prioritize business and information need
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Acquire Data from different sources to strategize and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
Execute regular audits, record user engagement measures
Perform deep data conversion rate and cost per conversion analysis. Develop and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and report on your efforts and make recommendations on KPIs
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
SEO / SEM expertise will be a plus.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
A minimum of five year experience in creating and optimizing reports to be utilized for digital marketing campaigns for high traffic websites, preferably with a financial institution or a retailer.
Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar applications
Google Analytics certified
Minimum 3 years of experience in deep data analysis utilizing software such as Microsoft BI, and Tableau
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting tools like Tableau / Microsoft BI,R, databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Minimum Education
Master of Science degree in computer science or Business Data Analytics. Or Master of Science in Marketing and Communications with proven knowledge and experience using Business Intelligence Analytics software such as Microsoft BI, Tableau or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
5 years of proven experience in Data Analytics with emphasis on deep Data Analytics for digital marketing support.
