Job Purpose:

  • Develop and execute a sustainable and profitable “Go to market” Strategy for all channels (Modern Trade, General Trade, Shopper Marketing)
  • Develop and lead a world class sales team to execute company’s commercial goals.
  • Design and roll out in-store shopper communications to become first choice for shoppers and customers.

 

Education & Experience Required

Minimum Level of Education: Masters

Area of Specialisation: Sales and Marketing (FMCG)

Job Related Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead implementation of the category strategy and trade strategy to drive growth.

  • Develop and execute a winning GTM commercial strategy to maximize sales and profit delivery.
  • Manage International Modern Trade and Local MT through profitable G2N spent.
  • Ensure excellent in market execution of new launches by achieving competitive weighted and numeric distribution.
  • Design and implement Channel Specific market service strategy based on Shopper and Channel needs.
  • Roll out key Sales Fundamentals including “Field Capability Scores” to ensure effective and efficient selling.
  • Design & agree Joint Business Plans with key distribution and Modern Trade partners to ensure a win win situation.
  • Develop Sales Operations Processes to ensure a healthy distributor financial health and business measurement.
  • Effectively manage the inventory with the local distributors in order to maximize efficiency and avoid stock outs.
  • Effectively manage both receivables and expenses in order to ensure a smooth business continuity and cash flow
  • Identify team skill gaps and design in-house training modules to support the business needs.
  • Lead Sales IT infrastructure and Drive MIS through effective database management systems.
  • Develop Sales Analytics toolkits to effectively measure business performance and incorporate learnings.
  • Develop a profitable Key Accounts and Institution business for GSK CHC.
  • Regularly participate and support CCC for GSK CHC Pakistan.
  • Model and drive GSK Values & Behaviors in the CHC sales team.
