Job Description

Role Summary

Role of this position is to be a credible business partner for the client’s leadership team in building and implementing effective people solutions to deliver business growth. This role will also support in Employee Relations matters and HR processes with local and regional stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a people strategy that is aligned with business’ objectives and focused on creating a competitive advantage for Pfizer by building a productive, agile and high performing workforce
  • Drive operational and executional excellence in annual cycle processes such as performance management, compensation review, talent review and development
  • Provide coaching on the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) and required support to managers
  • Lead the strategic thinking on designing a talent strategy with the aim of attracting, and retaining high potential talent and developing a strong leadership pipeline for critical roles in the market
  • Be a trusted counsel to senior leaders in the market on people and organizational matters. Coach and guide leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and support them in creating winning teams
  • Partner with the leadership team in implementing key change management strategies, including building future ready organizational designs and workforce optimization plans in consultation with internal stakeholders
  • Makes decisions that may require developing new options to resolve moderately complex problems
  • Work with leaders on the design and delivery of employee development plans with a focus on building skills and capabilities both for the present and the future
  • Use employee metrics, market trends to determine the efficacy of people processes and apply insights to re-engineer existing processes and/or build effective HR solutions to dynamic business needs
  • Support in ER initiatives for Pakistan Market with the help of regional ER lead.
  • Lead HR Internal & External Audits and implementation of remedial action plan.
  • Leading HR innovations and simplification projects.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor’s or Master’s from any recognized university.

Work Experience 5 to 8 years of relevant HR experience as mentioned above

  • Good consulting, coaching and conflict resolution skills and the ability to build strong relationships with different people across the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating, planning and deploying HR programs and initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
  • The desire to work with new and innovative technology
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in teams; share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedback
  • Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Ability to understand and integrate internal and external business drivers and financial metrics to drive talent outcomes for the business is preferred
