Job Description

Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
Conducts toolbox meetings
Is part of the project safety meetings and leads all efforts to enhance safety
Reviews approve and implement all subcontractor’s safety plans
Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to Central HSE dept.
Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use and have desired third-party certifications.
Promotes safe practices at the job site.
Enforces safety guidelines.
Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
Reports all progress report to HSE Dept.
Conducts job hazard analyses.
Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
Performs emergency response drills.
Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
Responds to workers’ safety concerns.
Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.
Ensures full compliance of client’s HSE Protocols and ZERO Non-Conformance
Prepare project HSE Plans along with the support of engineering team
Support sales team in Pre-Qualifications
Support in ISO Audits of Company to ensure Zero major non- compliance
Conduct supplier and contractors audits and trainings
Maintains PPEs issuance Record and minimum inventory
Maintains QHSE Training records

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences/ Environmental engineering/ Engineering in any other discipline.
NEBOSH IGC Certified and Lead Auditor of QHSE standards will be a plus
Well aware of local & middle east HSE Regulations
2-4 years’ experience
