Position related:

The successful candidate will be considered as ServiceNow subject matter expert and will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation on the ServiceNow platform. Successful candidate will work closely with the Solution Architect & Business Analyst and Technical teams to ensure that administration and implementation are conducted per GSS target architecture, procedures and best practices.

Goals:

• To analyze and design robust solutions as per GSS target architecture, best practices and guidelines
• Adhere the GSS Security and Privacy guidelines in all deliveries.
• Meeting SLA, KPI’s and customer satisfactions (NPS)
• To develop proactive maintenance controls for saving maintenance cost

Your Typical day at work:

• Serve as subject matter expert and deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and applications.
• Delivering effective and timely solutions through the application of business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, ACL’s and configuration of forms and workflows
• Manage ServiceNow version updates and new releases which include planning, testing, documentation, analysis of new functionality and its impact and implementation of the release
• Build and Deploy UI Policies, UI actions, script includes, scheduled jobs, import sets and transform maps
• Implementation of Service Now for ITSM, Discovery, Orchestration and various third-party integrations
• Design, build and support the Service Portals built on ServiceNow Platform
• Provide advanced support for Service Now by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and root cause analysis etc.
• Building, configuring and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and other internal and external applications using SOAP/REST and other modern integration techniques
• Develop functional and technical design documentations.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how a solution will function and what it will look like.
• Maintain production system reliability through utilization of Change Management process
• Actively engage in system testing including writing test cases and creating and utilizing automated test scripts.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: BS/BE degree or higher in a Computer Science or technical field

Work experience :

• 1-2 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration
• ServiceNow Administrator Certification recommended
• Experience in ServiceNow Advanced Scripting
