About the role

OUP Pakistan is looking for a highly skilled customer service representative to join our team. As a point of contact on behalf of the Press, the role primarily will involve addressing customer queries, providing product information, processing orders, confirming quotations and order status, and escalating complaints or feedback across a number of communication channels. This will also include maintaining and documenting issues and resolutions in an electronic database for relevant stakeholders to review, and accordingly recommend improvements to processes for better company efficiency.

Overall, the position aims to build rapport with customers by engaging with them in a friendly and professional manner, to deliver exceptional experiences, and nurture lasting customer relationships.

About you

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• A strong school education with relevant degree (preferably Master’s) from a recognized university.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in customer services.
• Proficiency in English language is essential.
• Strong analytical, communication, and active listening skills are essential
• Experience in SAP and in MS Office applications is essential.
• Ability to solve problems, multitask, manage time, and prioritize.
