• Being responsible for acquiring, organizing, managing and distributing library resources, and ensuring that library provision meets the needs of all its users.

Helping the management, teachers and students in managing their learning resources while keeping the library users' needs in mind.
Playing an advisory role for other librarians at various TMUC locations and providing guidance in library management according to their size of library

• Selecting, developing, cataloging and classifying library resources
• Answering readers' inquiries
• Using library systems and specialist computer applications
• Management of staff, including recruitment, training and/or supervisory duties
• Carrying out liaison with departmental academic staff, external organizations and suppliers
• Ensuring that library services meet the needs of particular groups of users (eg staff, undergraduate & postgraduate students).
• Managing budgets and resources
• Supporting independent research and learning
• Developing and maintaining IT facilities such as academic librarians, helping students and staff seek out data about a sector or subject area or specific research field.
• Assisting readers to use computer equipment, conduct literature searches, etc
• Promoting the library's resources to users
• Working out potential partnership opportunities with publishers and other book banks or professional bodies.
• Auditing the library resources and organizing library workshops by creating new opportunities.
• Providing support in organizing resource-related forums.
• Being responsible for specific library functions or subjects, provide support to management in advertising/recruiting basic level of posts and thereafter developing skills and expertise through increasingly specialized or advanced exposures in related fields.
• Organize and support events conducted by TMUC with reference to Library.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Librarian: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
