What is Manager Financial Planning & Analysis?

Manager Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for FP&A operational activities including weekly reporting, support for Flash reporting for group CFO, month end closing, quarter end closing, forecast / business plan presentations, virtual P&L preparations, portal publishing, business plan submission, business plan consolidation and archiving, annual target setting.

This role also includes interaction with other VEON OpCOs in gathering data pertaining to consolidated business plan.

The role reports directly to Head Source to Pay (HQ).

What does Manager Financial Planning & Analysis do?

Support for Weekly Reporting:

Flash Reporting:

Compare FX rates between HFM and MRPS to check if it matches.

Run Group consolidation and calculation in Hyperion.

Consolidation adjustments posting.

Support month end and quarterly closing.

Forecast/BP system preparation.

Virtual P&L preparations (currently Ventures).

Run forecast/ BP intercompany process.

Perform VWS forecasting.

Download USD rates and provide to ATC to upload to GRS.

Calculate eliminations and upload into GRS.

Update file to be in line with the expected output in CxO.

Refresh file to check if all Opco's have updated weekly numbers.

Follow up with Opcos if updated numbers or commentary was not provided.

Run group consolidation and calculation in Hyperion.

Compare numbers and percentages for Opcos and Group to CxO.

Spot and investigate system issues.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Counsel Digital, MFS & AML Contracts?

Preferably Masters in Accounting Finance/ACCA/CA/ACMA with 8-10 years of working experience.

Solid accounting knowledge, to be able to perform forecast / BP consolidation activities.

Prior experience in FP&A is a huge plus.

Solid knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Planning.

Strong MS Excel skills.

Strong financial reporting skills to be able to support all reporting tools and templates.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).

Detail and result oriented, persistent, confident, adaptable and positive attitude.
