What is Online Payments Expert?

Online Payments Expert reports to the Head of Online Payments and is part of the SME Products team. The purpose of this position it to ideate, develop amp; launch best in class payments products for the formal and informal e-commerce businesses.

What does Online Payments Expert do?

• Monitoring card acquiring market trends, conducting user research and defining the problem(s)
• Partnering with technical teams to design online payments solutions
• Helping to prioritize detailed requirements and ensure their delivery through technical teams.
• Analysing product performance and leveraging it to improve products
• Own end-to-end online payments product and identify new market opportunities
• Interact with the existing as well as potential users to understand their problems and solve them
• Have full ownership of JazzCash online payments products including strategy, pricing amp; value proposition
• Work alongside engineering teams to execute on the online payment’s roadmap
• Identify new opportunities and develop value added services for formal amp; informal online businesses
• Drive process improvement, including automation and self-service tools.
• Discover and validate customer problems and commercial opportunities based on market feedback and research
• Work with Product leadership to plan and deliver value add features into the Jazzcash Payment Gateway
   

What are we looking for and what does it take to be the Online Payments Expert?

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the payments industry
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Passion for payments
• Knowledge of card acquiring business
