JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for an SEO expert to manage all the search engine optimization and marketing activities for our client’s websites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• This role involves managing a portfolio of clients and improving their search engine optimization by using techniques including but not exclusive to: Keyword Research, Copy Optimization, Article Marketing, site structure, URL rewrites, social media, blogging and link building.
• An understanding of Paid search marketing would be a big plus. Adwords, remarketing etc.
• A critical element of this role is to improve rankings for the clients assigned to your portfolio, and deliver their weekly/monthly SEO reports.
• The SEO expert should have a track record of improving the ranking and traffic of websites using white hat techniques, be able to manage a portfolio of dedicated projects and work as part of a team on larger projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing clients and company’s current website(s) and developing an optimization plan that could produce tangible results quickly
• Making necessary changes to the site and implementing the plan
• Detailed SEO reporting on a weekly / monthly basis
• Liaising with the management
• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

SKILL REQUIRED

• Proven SEO professional experience
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics etc.)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
• Content Marketing - Article Submissions, PR Submissions, Blogs creation, posting & marketing, Hub Pages &, Blogs & forums posting, etc.
• Social Media - Social Networking & Bookmarking, Video Submissions, Slide share Submissions, Flickr Submissions, etc. Knowledge of On-Page SEO is also required.
• 02 years previous online marketing experience. Ad agency or online direct marketing background a plus.
• Demonstrate a proactive work ethic, when managing numerous competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel is a must. PowerPoint would be a plus.
• Minimum BSCS/BIT/BCS in either Information Technology will be preferred.
