What is Senior Service Delivery Engineer?

The role reports directly to the Team Lead Service Delivery and with an extended team of 14-members (including the department head) with 3 sub teams.

What Sr Service Delivery Engineer does?

Jazz B2B portfolio covers Cloud, Security, Long-haul amp; short-haul medium including last mile solutions covering layer-2 or Layer-3 IP amp; IPMPLS amp; IOT. We strongly aim at recruiting a team member well versed with the Fixed amp; Mobile networks, having strong knowledge of Cloud, IP Networks amp; Transmission networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination with Transmission teams for WO issuance on Microwave and optical path.
• Equipment issuance for P2P/PMP amp; Metro Fiber Last mile deployments.
• Configuration of various CE devices like Fortigate, Juniper SRX/SSG.
• Planning and configuring CE delivered for BGP Failover.
• Coordinate for testing of new products/services for viability.
• Engaging with Corporate Support team for L2 support of running clients.
• Visit client end for testing and troubleshooting of delivered services.
• Testing and delivery of Fixed Voice services like SIP Trunks/SIP accounts.

The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.

• Computer Engineering
• IT networking

Essential skills must have:

• In-depth knowledge of Ramp;S, MPLS, SIP, BGP, IoT and Cloud based solutions
• Project management

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Sr Service Delivery Engineer?

We are looking for someone who has five (5) or more years of Project Management/Ramp;S/IP Voice experience. Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills with certification, such as CCNP, JNCIP and HCIP with knowledge of BGP/OSPF/GRE/IPSEC/SIP/Switching/QinQ. He/she should have demonstrated ability to manage projects and time effectively utilizing resources and project plans to meet deadlines.
