Role Mission:

Your mission is to create fans who become customers who become advocates who help us recruit new fans through positive WOM. For every customer we acquire through paid marketing we should acquire at least 1 free customer through referrals and recommendations. You will be responsible for planning, strategy and goal setting as well as operational delivery.

Objectives:

1) Create and manage our brand narrative across all mediums

2) Develop and execute a unique and differentiated Social media strategy managing all posts and the content calendar

3) Enhance our Social media and drive positive WOM through influencer / blogger partnerships

4) Actively manage our brand NPS to optimise promoters and manage detractors; be the voice of our customers internally 5) Fuse your art with science through a data driven and analytical approach through social listening and reporting tools

Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop a short & long term content strategy to effectively ignite and engage our customer segments to create social buzz, brand engagement and positive WOM
  • Actively manage and develop our customer NPS and champion all positive and negative drivers of NPS across the business to ensure focus and prioritization by cross functional teams
  • Aid in developing the marketing strategy designed to deliver the business goals and champion the brand rooted in positive word-of-mouth (WOM)
  • Actively manage social media accounts and marketing campaigns on a day-to-day basis,
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way in the company’s tone of voice to be able to cultivate leads and conversions,
  • Own the brand toolkit and ensure all marketing touch points reflect our brand story, essence and our unique selling proposition
  • Oversee design and social media graphics including covers, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages
  • Work with bloggers/Vloggers for content creation or partnerships
  • Own social listening tool and reporting and give business teams customer and competitor insights
  • Co-manage and optimize a small core team of agencies including our media, creative and PR partners
  • Manage online reviews and platform reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review in timely manner and with care,
  • Monitor and report effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media campaigns,
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed, provide regular reporting and create a social marketing dashboard to track all pre-agreed KPI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand key areas and help devise marketing plans/communication
  • Brainstorm growth strategies designed to drive referrals and recommendations with a test, learn, iterate mindset
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience and all touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Functional Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Working experience in high growth, fast moving environments
  • Proven experience in marketing - 4-5 years minimum
  • Experience in Social-Media channels handling
  • Reputation and brand building experience in social platforms is highly preferable,
  • Strong working knowledge of and continuous curiosity in the dynamics and algorithms of each social media channel,
  • Experience working as part of an in-house social media and content marketing team with real hands on responsibility or agency side actively managing fast growth and ROI focused accounts; must be able to dive deep,
  • An analytical person with a creative eye,
  • Experience of anticipating and adopting innovations, must be willing to learn,
  • Ability to multi-task projects and initiatives effectively and prioritise whilst continuously delivering results,
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented and self-directed. Energetic, can-do attitude with a strong bias for action,
  • Ability to work and thrive in a growth focused and fast-paced environment,
