Position Related:

Telenor Global shared services – Pakistan, a Shared Service Centre, is the service provider of IT Solutions and various allied IT and functional support services in the areas of finance, accounts, HR and SCM to the Telenor Group companies globally.

One of our Group companies, Allente (Norway) is hiring IS/IT experts placed locally but working globally. As part of our Allente team you will run the operations of and do new development on our .NET based web systems.

Goals

As software engineer on the Global Backend Team you will be a vital player in making sure everything keeps working as intended, and helping developing new functionalities.

Your typical day at work

As a Software Engineer

Development of Allente Web Based systems using

Technologies C#. NET, MVC. NET

Microsoft ASP. NET framework 4.6+,

SQL Server Databases

Knowledge in any Web frameworks such as Angular JS, NodeJs, ReactJs.

Web Technologies like Html, CSS, SASS

Knowledge of CMS specially EpiServer would be a big plus

Good understanding of Rest/Soap Services.

Good Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Have experience working with or as a UX resource.

You work mostly on SQL Server Databases but it’s not limited to that as we have systems that are based on Oracle Databases as well.

Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C# code.

Weekly online meetings with business and project owners to discuss problems, solutions and ideas and possible action items.

Using Good business communications and analytical skills you are continuously in contact with Customers and Project owners in Nordic region.

Coordination with Operations and test teams.

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.

Having strong UI/UX design skills, you suggest your ideas and designs to your peers and product owners to be able to design beautiful and functional web pages, mockups and demos.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering/Computer Sciences or equivalent

Work experience:

1-3 years of professional experience is desired.

Potential Career Path:

Cross functional – Architect position of other domains/functions

Opportunities in similar role in TP locally and GSS and Telenor group globally

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:

Must have Knowledge and experience with Microsoft .NET framework.

Should have an hands on experience in ASP.NET, C#.NET, MVC, LINQ

Must be really good in developing front end using JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, NodeJS.

Experience working with EPiServer CMS is a big plus.

Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Database and Oracle Database.

Experience working with Web Services and system integrations.

Experience working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or any other source control.

Familiar with various design and architecture patterns.

Be proficient in all areas of SDLC– analysis, design, implementation, testing, performance tuning, debugging and operations.

Experience in developing efficient web frontends using MVW frameworks.
