VX Labs PK, required talented IT Technical project manager, who will be tasked with managing projects with top-down oversight from inception to completion. They must ensure that all projects adhere to the required standards of budget, timeline, and scope. They must also develop project plans that meet client needs with the company’s goals and coordinate technical personnel throughout all stages of the project. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to assist in the day to day project management and leadership activities related to project delivery and execution. Software project managers generally work part-time in an office environment, though performing extra hours is commonplace when problems need resolution or deadlines near.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and IT/Technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • They are also responsible for identifying and removing impediments, facilitating discussions for making appropriate process decisions, and creating solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze the economics of the project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Oversee the acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers and QA Personnel Balanced business/technical background i.e. a sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.
  • Assuring the successful and timely execution of the project deliverables.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with international clients/customers
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as sound knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Adept at overseeing all facets of the project lifecycle, including initiation and planning; change, risk, and issue management; and guiding QA teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills. Able to successfully build strong working relationships with coworkers and clientele, while ensuring cooperation among company departments.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Responsible for analyzing/reviewing business specifications, for creating detailed designs, for code implementation, for unit/integration
  • Excellent multitasked; able to efficiently plan and prioritize projects.
