What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

-Within 30 days you will:

- Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn about Jazz’s core values, business, and products

- Meet with the Technology team to understand the functioning of the role in line with Jazz organization

- Develop understanding of Level-2/Back office operations department within the Technical team.

- Develop understanding of network architecture and the role of CS Core back office team in the network

-Within 60 days, you will:

- Introduction to CS Core Network, understanding detailed Network Architecture, Nodes and Develop concrete understanding of Jazz Change control Policy, Voice Core Low level design.

- Go through all the MOP & SOP of CS Core Operations.

- Collaborate with Internal People within Technical (Peer departments), stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Corporate affairs) and Vendors.

-Within 90 days to onwards you will:

- Develop thorough competency on CS Core Network Products like MSCs, MGWs, STPs, IMS and SBCs. Would be able to perform O&M,

- Configuration Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, Network Audit, Health Checks, Vendor Management and Project Execution with great product knowledge.

- Continuously review and bring improvements to the Jazz Technology and Development framework and design innovative solutions as per global best practices.

- Handle day-to-day network operations of CS Core Network.

- Work on operations & administration of the Hardware & software of Huawei platforms.

- Engage in effective coordination with Vendor so that root-cause analysis (RCA Report) can be done in shortest possible time.

- Ensure high availability of network to the end-users and business.

- Coordinate with all relevant technology vendors for any support issues to make sure that Service Level Agreements are met.

- Comply with all the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during the execution of tasks and carrying out all job-related duties.

- Be involved in report writing and MOP preparation.

A Bit About You:

We are looking for someone who has already worked for CS Core Backoffice/Level 2 Operations with hands on experience on MSCs, MGWs, STPs, SBCs, IMS and SS7 firewalls preferable with vendors like Huawei. Must be a signaling expert with trace analysis, configuration and troubleshooting skills.

We are also looking for someone who has excellent communication skills to be able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints.

A Bit About Us:

CS Core Operations team is part of the Network development Department within the Technology Division. The team is mainly focused on new technologies deployment, network integrations, keeping network fault free and up to date. Furthermore, this department is handling customer complaints (commercial & corporate). We are focused towards aligning learning and contribute to business effectively while aligning their behaviors to Jazz values.

The structure of the team you will join is:

- 8-member team (including the Manager).

- Main tasks include day to day Operation & Maintenance of CS Core Network, Customer complaints handling (corporate & commercial), configuration management, tracing, troubleshooting, interaction with internal and external stakeholders and support vendor teams for ongoing issues, project and upgrades.

Essential skills must have:

- Customer centricity approach to identify and fix network issues

- Knowledge of GSM Call flows, SIP/ IP Protocols, Signaling, troubleshooting skills and database configuration on Huawei platforms

- Innovative thinking and solution orientation to develop solutions in line with our philosophy, competencies and expectations from leaders

- Communication and presentations skills to make solutions/ideas understandable for respective audience segments
