Recovery Supervisor Job Description

Ensure Recovery Targets are achieved as per CARS benchmark. Ensure adherence to laid down C&R processes, policies and Quality Assurance. Timely completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training, including e-learning by the set deadlines. Completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training and related compliance acknowledgements by each member of your team by the set deadlines.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

nsure and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters. Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance matters are addressed, and misconduct appropriately dealt with. Proactive identification and reporting of risks and concerns. Mitigation of risks and resolution of issues in a timely manner including developing suitable controls and measuring their effectiveness

Key Responsibilities

  • Review of Daily performance and other MIS’s to determine team Performance, account coverage, monitor area of improvement and to prevent or monitor exceptions.
  • Staff Retention and Motivation
  • Carries out ROs follow up on the productivity benchmarks of number of accounts per RO Field visits/calls per day, contacts, promise taken, promises kept and amount collected.
  • Ensure CACS utilization by the team.
  • Ensure maximum coverage of accounts.
  • Provided feedback to line mangers/senior manager about team performances and delinquent pool.
  • Resolve problematic accounts by direct interaction with customers.
  • Help/guide ROs in customer management both on telephone/field visits.
  • Review and assist in effective capacity planning.
  • Ensure performance management as per process.
  • Ensure customers complaints resolutions and escalations as per the defined TAT.
  • Evaluate training requirements of ROs and arrange/conduct as per Training program.
  • Ensure CACS utilization of the team with appropriate usage of excuse code, consistent and quality updated of CACS trails on every account.
  • To ensure all QA/OR exception are closed in the given timelines.
  • Ensure Compliance to Collections and Group code of Conduct.
  • Ensure Compliance of DOs & Don’ts
  • To ensure that all processes are carried out adhere to the Collections process and Strategy Manuals.
  • Minimize / prevent customer complaints.
  • Ensure customer are treated fairly.
  • Conduct daily and other periodic reviews of all team members individually to monitor individual performance and productivity.
  • Reviews accounts worked on, identify areas of weakness and conduct counselling and take appropriate measure to rectify lags.
  • GL account reconciliation.
  • To ensure incentive validation.

Minimum Qualification Graduate from recognized University
Good Communication & Presentations Skills– written/ verbal (advanced)
Excellent Negotiation skills & Influencing Skills
Problem solving and decision-making Skills
Strong Analytical Skills
Having goof understanding of Retail Banking Knowledge, Process flows & Operational Risk
Should be a Team Player and flexible for multi-tasking
Ability and Willingness to handle challenging task with High moral and ethical standards.
