Essential Responsibilities/ How will your typical day look like
Providing assistance to Head of Sustainability and sustainability team on a day-to-day basis. Support and lead on various aspects as defined below in key responsibilities.
Develop and manage sustainability projects, goals, objectives, initiatives, or strategies in collaboration with other sustainability professionals.
Assess or propose sustainability initiatives, considering factors such as cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, and alignment with group partnership policies
Engaging and working with a variety of key internal/external stakeholders on the sustainability initiatives/programs
Using internal/external communications and designing social media campaigns to reinforce and deliver the message of Telenor’s commitment to social responsibility
Working on company branding strategies for sustainability with the marketing department
Sustainability Report; Developing yearly Sustainability Report and communication materials for Internal/external stakeholders regarding a company’s sustainability directions, achievements and effectiveness of sustainability initiatives
Safe Internet & School Outreach; Implementing and organizing “Child online Safety” sessions across Pakistan. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the initiative, and when needed, recommending changes to close strategic gaps, Conducting dialogues with provincial government on integration of SAFE in curriculum, Research and review regulatory, technical, or market issues related to CSA filter
Digital Birth Registration; Provide technical and administrative support for the seamless migration of DBR to PITB and local government. Monitor and track KPI’s in close coordination with UNICEF
Open Mind Pakistan; E2E management of the flagship initiative designed for Persons with disabilities i.e. creating position, announcement, finding right talent pool, Placement etc.
Digital Job Portal for PWD’s; End to End management of the job portal, Onboarding likeminded organizations,
Human Rights Due Diligence; Conducting workshops, sessions and interviews of relevant departments, Report writing and maintenance of documents, OH&S and Supply Chain, Monitor or track sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling, Organizing company-wide environmental volunteer activities, Conducting announced and unannounced audits of sites/franchises across Pakistan and reporting of (major/minor) nonconformities, Conducting training and awareness sessions for vendors regarding sustainability policies, health and safety of their staff

Basic Qualification:
Minimum Bachelors
Preferred Qualification:
ISO certifications will be preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years
Experience in social sector will be preferred
Functional Skills/Knowledge area:
Excellent computer knowledge in general and specially in Microsoft Office products especially in PowerPoint, excel and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
