In the context of the Covid-19 situation and under pillar 9, there is a dire need to sustain the essential services especially the primary health care programs and the need that all primary health programs to work in an integrated manner to boost the uptake of the health services and better utilize the available resources.

The incumbent shall undertake the following duties:

1. Assist in formulating the proper strategies for the integrated service delivery according to the country/local context in order to assist in achieving the universal health coverage.

2. Liaise and coordinate with the different Primary Health Care (PHC) programs to ensure inclusion as much as possible of the health packages considering the adopted DCP3.

3. Coordinate and follow up on the implementation of the integrated services in both fixed health facilities and outreach teams.

4. Coordinate and follow up on the essential immunization program activities in order to achieve the Universal Immunization Coverage (UIC).

5. Coordinate and support the health events like mass vaccination campaigns, immunization outreach activities and emergency preparedness and response.

6. Analyze data and information of the health programs to assess and inform authorities for evidence-based decisions and interventions.

7. Support building the technical capacity of the different categories of health workers and managers

8. Support mobilization of local resources and effectively and efficiently use the available resources.

9. Liaise with other programs in WHO and other donor and partners at different level to harmonize the implementation of the health activities in coordinated manner.
