You will report to Head of Payments. The role is based out of Islamabad, with travel to other business locations as required.
What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn about Jazz’s core values, business, and products.
Streamline reporting of the B2C payments segment.
Familiarize yourself with the internal structure and dynamics. Meet relevant stakeholders and build a rapport.
Get updated on the current disbursement projects, product features, client wise stats and pipeline.
Create an elaborate product strategy and roadmap with a key focus on wallet acquisition.
Within 60 days you will:
Implement product strategy and start work on enabling usecases
Creating quarterly key product objectives and key goals
Understanding key pain points related to customer integration and initial onboarding
Coordinating with client success team for product & feature launches, customer feedback and adoption measurement
Identifying issues in the products based on the data and implementing improvements
Within 90 days and beyond you will:
Communicate issues and progress within the Product Team, to the Management, as well as cross functionally within the company
Identify opportunities of payments digitization within the government and corporate sector.
Aggressively drive sales to capture those opportunities to increase wallet acquisitions and digitize payments.
Think creatively and design new products and solutions as per the market need.
Liaise with Product development and technology teams to finalize business requirement document, define product functionalities and conduct UAT.
Constantly think of new payment usecases that should be there on JazzCash app.
What we have done and what we will do with YOU
As part of its growth strategy, JazzCash is targeting the B2C (Consumer to Business) payments segment, as this is expected to increase uptake of mobile accounts and drive transaction volume. This encompasses Business to Consumer (Loan disbursement, Reward disbursement, etc) and Government to Consumer (Scholarships/Stipends, Social aid disbursement, etc) payments. This position will be responsible for managing the B2C product portfolio, enhancing value proposition of the product, increasing B2C usecases on the JazzCash app, driving sales, designing and implementing consumer campaigns, He/she will be a core part of the Payments team and responsible to provide information and propose actions to increase efficiency and ensure effectiveness in our Go-to-Market.
A bit about you:
Self-motivated with atleast 2-3 years experience in product management preferably in the digital financial service space.
Quick thinker, ability to extract opportunities and convert them into commercial models at a quick pace.
Passionate about growing a product’s portfolio, incorporating new use cases and working towards sustainable, innovative and impactful solutions to business problems.
Possess strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
The individual should have strong initiative and business acumen, sound work ethic, sense of urgency and be able to take decisions with a customer centric and collaborative approach.
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
