At this position you would bel be responsible to facilitate matters related to Procurement, Payments, Budgeting, Contracts and inventory management for the Department. He/ she will be responsible for liaison with security vendors (guarding & equipment) to ensure effective execution of the security contracts. Additionally, this role will look after all backend operations of the Department.

 

Goals:

  • Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, invoice payments, petty cash of the department
  • Vendor’s KPI Management against the Contracts (Guarding & Security/ Safety Equipment)
  • Compliance to Safety & Security Policy
  • Operational Excellence

Your Typical Day at Work:

  • Facilitating the supervisor in all aspects of the financial matters/ operations of the Sustainability Department
  • Payment processing of all vendor and companies, verify their invoices, accessing their quotations and coordination with Procurement Department.
  • Manage all the departmental costs through financial analysis, contractors/vendors negotiation.
  • Contracts Management and to act as member of MPT (Multi Skilled Procurement Team) for RFQ’s related to Corporate Security & Sustainability, and execute Technical Evaluation of vendors.
  • Budgeting, planning and execution of different projects Nationwide.
  • PR processing.
  • Managing different projects (Installation of complete security equipment i.e. CCTV, Access Control and Fire Systems) at different Telenor build outs.
  • Recommend installations of new/ latest security systems or a possible up-gradation in the existing systems whenever required.
  • Handling all kind of security issues and keeping check on security companies.
  • Vendor Management and their due diligence.
  • Research market constantly to gain knowledge of the latest trends in security systems implementation.
  • Coordination with Facilities Management and Procurement department regarding new projects and build outs.
  • Selection of appropriate gadgetries /equipment according to desire and budget of the company.
  • Conducting investigations of any loss incurred, thefts and unlawful activities.
  • Handling and resolving all operational issues and looking after vendor’s performance.
  • Managing Petty cash of department.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Essential: Bachelor’s degree (business or Public administration)
  • MBA would be an added advantage
  • Desirable Certification(s): Risk Assessments, Building/ perimeter security or Security Management and Coordination, Fire Safety.

 

Functional Skills/Knowledge Area:

Essential

  • Implemented and managed security practices and procedures within a corporate environment.
  • Coordinated local and international Contracts with security partners and vendors.
  • Demonstrated report preparation and presentation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of a team in challenging environment.
  • Good command on communication (verbal/written). Also, must be able to communicate well in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
  • Fair understanding of Telecommunications business and operations.
  • Proficient computer skills with command on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge and security experience from other industries.
  • Knowledge and experience of security equipment and latest trends and convergence of human and technological security measures.
  • Ability to complete designated tasks on time and to the required standard.

Experience

  • Three to four years of relevant experience

 

Potential Career Path:

This is a security support role which can grow into a security management role. Other possible career paths can be in financial operations, sourcing and other domains requiring an eye for detail.
