• To support and maintain the academic standards in school and provide orientation to English teachers on curriculum development.
• Monitor and support the implementation of curriculum throughout the region.
• Conduct lesson observations, notebook scrutiny, reviewing lesson plans and attending coordination meetings.
• To visit regional schools and maintain records which provide a resource for the annual review and analysis of academic development and achievement.
• The preparation of Academic Visit Report which guides the school leadership in the continuous development of academic standards.
• Overall quality assurance for English curriculum implementation
• Ensure to strengthen TCS curriculum by reviewing it against International Curriculums.
• Training existing subject-coordinators/mentors for effective curriculum implementation in schools.
• Propose and plan Language development programs (for students).
• Responsible for exam paper setting as per policy (MYE & EoY) and close liaison with Regional Exam Coordinator/HOD Examination.
• To monitor internal examination paper checking to ensure consistency, accuracy and in accordance with TCS policies and procedures.
