What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products
Meet with the Jazz Business team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map. Have meetings, with members of other teams to understand how each function at Jazz contributes to the overall success.
Understand the functionality of International Roaming Business and its operations, how your role fits into the overall strategy and function. You will understand roaming business, SOPs & processes, who are the key stake holders, get aligned to the ongoing tasks, projects and deliverables.
Develop in-depth understanding of Jazz philosophy and frameworks

Within 60 days, you will:
Research and analysis on International Roaming Portfolio and exploring the business opportunities.
Coordination with Foreign Telecom operators to initiate business with them and forwarding a proposal to launch new International Roaming Service openings with Jazz.
Focusing on business development and making sure all services with each foreign operator stay up to date and any missing domains are covered.
Working closely with Legal team for agreement review and analysis.
Research and Analysis of all Tier 1 & 2 A2P vendors.
Coordination and discussion of business opportunities with all potential vendors.
Agreement management and launching of A2P services with the best possible business providers.
Collaborate with Revenue Assurance team in order to avoid revenue loss.
Analyze and work with top vendors for best telecom/signalling solutions and bring them on board by collaborating with legal and technical teams.
Be involved in competitor analysis and own roaming tariff on regular basis to remain update with the market trends.
Ensure rigorous coordination with technical teams for implementation of necessary changes in the network and signalling while organizing all the tests for new launches.
Collaborate with Finance team for monthly settlement of roaming partner Credit Notes.
Coordinate with DCH/FCH & roaming partners in case of RAPs (rejected TAP files). With the legal team you will be engaged for agreement review and analysis
Maintain the quota and balances for each prepaid vendor with support from Service delivery team.

Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Make sure all the International Roaming products are marketed well to reach the customers and all the tariffs and packages are updated on the website to be available for the end consumer.
Resolve customer complaints related to technical and billing issues with the help of the respective teams.
Prepare IOT and vendor accruals with Finance team for necessary booking at their end.
Be engaged in monthly invoicing and verification of all the payment to roaming vendors.
Maintain the updated documents (i.e. Agreements, amendments, latest IR21s & AA14s) of roaming partners on the online portal.
On board new vendors on board by collaborating with operations and technical teams.
Overlook daily registration of new sender IDs requested by each vendor.
Be involved in management of invoices and SMS bundles for each vendor in coordination with Finance.
Be engaged in weekly reporting and analysis of the International A2P traffic trend.
Be coordinating with Marketing and Finance teams for revenue bookings each month.
A bit about you:
We are looking for someone with preferably 3-4 years of experience in roaming/A2P business. Has a positive mindset, like to innovates, is analytically sound, takes up challenges and presents his/her view point in a convincing manner.

International Roaming Team is part of Carriers & International Business Department and is responsible for managing both retail and wholesale sides of roaming business Jazz. We manage roaming interconnects with over 300 partners worldwide and growing.
The structure of the team you will join is:
You will be reporting to Stream Head International Business (Voice & Roaming) and will be based in Lahore. You will have peers who will be handling different aspect of roaming operations.
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Alignment of targets, budget planning and monitoring of roaming & A2P revenue deliverables
Coordination with roaming partners and Veon group roaming team in order to ensure business operations continuity without any interruptions
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Traffic analysis and planning of new strategies for simplification of roaming business
Working on deployment of data roaming bundles
