Allure SEO (www.allureseo.com) the Brooklyn-based leading SEO and Web Development agency is seeking an agile Full Stack PHP/WordPress Developer for their Islamabad office who is responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

The ideal candidate should have full command of design and WordPress website development independently.

Responsibilities

· Designing and implementing new features and functionality

· Setup of WordPress options, plugin installation, and configuration

· Strong written and verbal English communication skills

· Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture

· Strong organizational skills, structured thinking, and development methodology

· Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS

· Helping formulates an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme.

· Knowledge of PHP best practices, debugging and profiling

Skills and Qualifications

· Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

· Expert knowledge of WordPress (Plugin/theme development / API)

· Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

· Understanding of WordPress frameworks

· Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

· Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

· Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

· Strong knowledge about how to secure a website using security plugins.

· Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

· Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

· Expert at optimizing WordPress websites for search engines specifically Google

· Knowledge of various SEO Plug-ins for WordPress

· Experience working with WordPress/WooCommerce

· Strong knowledge of WordPress Theme customization

· WordPress theme development

· Expertise on Elementor Framework will be plus

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}

· Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

· Knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap

· Strong coordination skills to coordinate with our Lead Project Manager, design team, and other developers

· Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator

· Knowledge of Code igniter and Laravel will be a plus.
