The incumbent shall undertake the following duties under the overall supervision of WHO-EPI Team Lead and direct supervision of National Manager EPI:

• • Work closely with the partner organizations to plan, implement and monitor HSS grant.
  • Provide technical support to federal, provincial and district level authorities in equity-focused planning
  • Design framework for the implementation of the HSS Grant.
  • Develop comprehensive work-plan and follow-up planned activities to ensure implementation as per the agreed timeline.
  • Develop monitoring indicators (Score card) for tracking/reviewing performance of the districts.
  • Familiarize him/herself with and understand the government’s financial and accounting systems to prepare detailed budget for individual activities as approved in the grant and, ensuring alignment with grant objectives.
  • Monitor the progress and disbursement of funds in line with the approved plan.
  • Ensure various procurements under the grant are followed and regular updates are shared with the National Programme Manager (EPI).
  • Conduct quarterly review meetings on a structured agenda, well prepared on the progress (including financial utilization) to share the bottlenecks and propose solutions accordingly.
  • Arrange a structured monthly coordination meeting with the partners working on the grant to overcome impediments.
  • Develop and maintain minutes of meetings and other relevant documents in the ECU secretariat in line with audit requirements.
  • Liaise with other members in EPI and ECU exchanging relevant information on regular basis.
  • Work on closeout of the grant and ensure complete record-keeping throughout the grant period.
  • Conduct training to enhance the capacity of Federal EPI personnel on grant management.
  • Any other relevant task assigned as and when required.
