What will Intern - Regulatory Projects do?

Key responsibilities

• Regularization of USSD Codes: Arrange necessary information from relevant SHs and process documentations accordingly to apply PTA for USSD Codes regularization/ allocation.
• Liaison with internal stakeholders to arrange necessary information/ documents required to apply for approval from PTA for launch of new VAS/ BIZ services.
• Liaison with Jazz internal teams for processing of MFS fraud and grey blocking and un-blocking cases received from PTA.
• Maintain record of regulatory correspondence at common repository.
• Perform any regulatory task / special project assigned by line manager from time to time.

Key deliverables of the intern

• USSD Codes DB management.
• Consumer complaints pertaining to MFS fraud/ Grey Telephony.
• Grey Blocking/ un-blocking received from PTA.
• Anti-spam reporting and un-blocking.
• Keep track of Regulatory correspondence/ update common repository.
• Managing Special Projects.

The role reports directly to the Expert Regulatory Projects & Interconnect.

• Generate useful insights through research on industry and global trends
• Prepare and present periodic reports on the assigned projects
• Attend team meetings and meet the stakeholders related to the assigned projects
• Brainstorm and come up with creative ideas on existing processes and systems
• Provide assistance to the department to improve their coordination and productivity
• Have close liaison with different departments/functions for the timely execution of deliverables
• Be mentored by a Jazz professional to guide you through your extensive learning experience
• Attend social networking activities and build relationship with your peers/stakeholders

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelors degree
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
