Job Purpose:

• To ensure timely manufacturing of quality products in compliance with applicable QMS, EHS and Regulatory policies through supervising assigned production line(s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the machine in excellent working condition to attain the required output expected from the respective machine.
• Plan daily work schedule with the department head.
• In line with GPS, maintain line level boards on hourly basis, carry out operations as per Operator Standard Work (OSW), conduct problem solving as per standard format and escalate issues as per Standard Response to Abnormalities.
• Carry out line clearance and product change over once batch is completed as per the defined standards.
• Ensure GMP compliance during operation i.e., proper labeling, IPC, line clearance, housekeeping, duct and filter cleaning, etc) and EHS (Zero Access Guarding, LOTO etc.,) .
• Prepare batch records of respective production line(s).
• Operate the machine in cost effective way ensuring right first-time approach, minimizing changeovers and avoiding wastages.
• Coordinate with Engineering in ensuring the agreed preventive maintenance schedule is followed.
• Ensure that all the spare parts for the machine are available and stored properly.
• Ensure that IPC equipment and the gadgets related to the respective machine are calibrated.
• Identify, suggest and implement continuous improvement projects after approval of the management.
• Attend all mandatory and operation related training as per curricula and ensure machine operators under the supervision, attended their assigned trainings within the given timelines.
• Ensure proper usage of companys property, including plant and machinery. Any fault/breakdown should be brought to the notice of engineering staff immediately.
• Be proactive in getting prepared for the audits, i.e., CAG, EHS, etc.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Hands on experience in granulation operation
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
