UN Women supports women’s full and equal representation and participation in all levels of peace processes and security efforts. UN Women leads on implementing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda through research initiatives, data collection, learning exchanges, and documentation of good practices to inform policy and programming. In Pakistan, UN Women applies different methodologies to enhance the participation of women towards the creation of harmonious and secure societies. It continues to build momentum on the WPS agenda by building a trust-worthy partnership with government institutions like National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) to advocate for women’s role in peacebuilding.
