Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all projects undertaken are done within the bank`s defined Project Management framework. The responsibility includes to ensure proper documentation is done for projects, S/He is responsible for Project planning, Tracking, Communication, Stakeholder management. Project Manager is also responsible for coordinating between different stakeholders of the project to ensure all are kept updated about the project progress. It includes the planning and tracking of projects cost effectiveness, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and implementation of sensitive projects. Identifies and resolves issues related to projects. Ensures assigned projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget.

Description

Accountability 1 – Project Management

§ To evaluate the progress of project on regular basis.

§ Ensure that each project has clear goals and timelines.

§ He/she should also set realistic and practical goals for the project

§ Define and refine project scope and work approach.

§ Provide project estimation and planning, including being responsible for scheduling, resourcing requirements, and budgeting.

§ Ensure all projects follow the project governance framework defined by the bank.

§ To work within the bank`s established Project Management framework

Accountability 2 – Communication and Coordination

§ He/she should develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team

§ To conduct and minute project meetings.

§ To coordinate with internal and external senior stakeholders, vendors, Technology & Compliance teams

§ Manage project communications, providing formal and informal status updates both internally and externally.

§ Work with product teams to prioritize the need around technical support resources and application support analysts required to meet the tactical needs of customers.

Accountability 3 – Project Risk Management

§ Documentation and identification of risks,

§ Risk mitigation

§ Ensure risks associated with project delays are well documented at the relevant Forums.

§ Perform overall project risk and issue management, and handle detailed tracking and mitigation planning.

Accountability 4 – Documentation

§ Contribute to the evolution of the PMO documentation and methods.

Accountability 5 – Stake Holder Management

§ To engage different stakeholders of project (Information security, Compliance, Infrastructure & IT solutions)

§ Define requirements and work with relevant cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth, efficient implementation and delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or management sciences.

Minimum experience:
5+ years’ experience in technology or project management.
