Product Manager for Careem Care

At Careem, our mission is to simplify and improve the lives of people and create an awesome organisation that inspires. As a product manager for Care, you are expected to strengthen the mission of delivering delightful and efficient Care experience for all Careem verticals. You will be responsible for building product features for an agents-facing Care portal with more than 1500 users. As part of Care, the largest division at Careem in terms of headcount, you will be working closely with product, operations, engineering, and data science. You will have tremendous ownership, and it is an invitation to do the most meaningful work of your career.

Responsibilities include:
Identify, conceptualize and develop new products as well as improvements to existing products.
Designing for care agents with high turnover and obsessing to create a super low friction agents experience.
Working across all areas of the company, you will serve as an internal/external liaison between engineering, design, operations, commercial, marketing, and executive management, building products that serve over 1M Captains (drivers), 30M Customers, and +1.5K Agents across 11 countries.
Manage both the tactical fire fighting incidents and the strategic approach for fire prevention.
Develop good relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, agents, partners, and executive management.
Gather and use quantitative and qualitative data, creating hypotheses and making informed product decisions, testing assumptions early to reduce risk up-front.
Perform A/B testing working with data analysts and data scientists to validate and iterate product increments that demonstrate customer and business value.
Support making Careem the region’s category leader in delivering the best and most efficient user experience.

Qualifications:
Possess high user empathy, understand unmet needs, define MVP, prioritize epics and stories.
Knowledge of design thinking methodologies to create outstanding user experiences with the help of UX or product designers.
Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, to manage and close the loop on multiple concurring tasks.
High level of curiosity to figure out working with legacy systems, policies and operational limitations, and champion a culture for better documentation and sustainability.
