The purpose of this non-staff contract is to assist Government of Pakistan to identify bottlenecks and strengthen rate-limiting systems “levers”, to building and expanding service delivery models that include the most vulnerable groups and provide support to pilot districts and the provincial health department in KP to implement the planned activities of FPA model districts and Integrated People Centered Health Services (IPCHS) in full coordination with the WCO and WHO Sub-office (KP).

To facilitate the primary health care (PHC) accelerators project, the incumbent, under the direct supervision of Head of Sub-Office (KP) in close coordination with Coordinator (Health Systems Development) and the overall supervision of WR Pakistan, shall:

• Compile and analyse data that would be used to draft the strategic roadmap using the Operational Framework and Global Action Plan for KP.
• Provide technical input during consultative meetings with provincial health Department to endorse the roadmap for PHC accelerators project.
• Obtain the strategic roadmap using the Operational Framework and Global Action Plan for KP endorsed by the Department of Health (DoH) KP.
• Organize planning meetings with the provincial PHC relevant stakeholders to identify the required WHO support for the implementation of roadmap for PHC accelerators project.
• Undertake key monitoring activities to the project sites.
• Support missions/travel to implementation sites for the implementation of roadmap for PHC accelerators project.
• Monitor and identify defined catchment in the health care facility.
• Develop the family roster per physician, proactive registration strategy and encouraging people to approach health facility for registration and fill-in of the family folder and report its progress.
• Monitor availability of essential health service package and essential medicines at Basic Health Units (BHUs) and Rural Health Centers (RHCs), report shortcomings to District Health Officers (DHOs) and follow-up filling-in gaps.
• Monitor and analyze the implementation of family practice approach / IPCHS at model districts and provide monthly progress report in line with planned interventions.
• Perform any other related task assigned by the supervisor.
