What is Business Partner DFS?

Financial Planning amp; Analysis Business Partner DFS role entails engaging with key stakeholders in order to deliver on overall strategy, planning amp; direction of DFS

The role reports directly to the Head DFS Strategy amp; Projects with an extended team of 5 team members

What does Financial Planning amp; AnalysisBusiness Partner do?

• Drive amp; execute the processes of revenue planning for budgets, forecasts and business plans through a comprehensive bottom-up exercise, collaborating with Business, Technology, Channel amp; Finance stakeholders to finetune each assumption / driver and run multiple iterations post Management/ HQ reviews
• Analyze actual Revenue performance and explain the variances vs target / previous year / previous month through solid and profound business reasoning to the Management
• Develop understanding of technology related financial targets amp; KPIs.
• Develop detailed understanding of ongoing and upcoming capital investment projects and related capex requirements.
• Develop detailed understanding of ongoing and upcoming OPEX projects and related OPEX requirements.
• Develop understanding of Governance, Project approval and appraisal process templates
• Understand budget/Business Partner related presentations amp; templates for group reporting
• Liaise with amp; respond to Group queries after alignment with all internal stakeholders
• Develop a robust methodology for involvement at the Strategy level, idea generation, assessment, appraisal, authorization, implementation and review

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Business Partner?

• 5-8 years’ work experience in the field of Finance / Commercial / Technology preferably within a Fintech
• Extensive knowledge and experience of revenue planning, business performance analysis amp; reporting, technology CAPEX, OPEX, management accounting/ reporting, investment appraisals amp; business partnership roles.
• Self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders influencing strategic priorities
• Analytical thinking and reasoning
• Communication/negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
