About the role
As an INDUSTRY INSIGHTS MANAGER you will part of the Global Insights team and be responsible for building and driving the agenda of providing Industry trends and insights to help leadership teams at Careem make insight driven growth decisions . In process, you will:

Acquire and share deep knowledge of the ridehail, food delivery and payments industry (industry trends, unit economic analysis, market share etc) and highlight key business challenges that affect competitors and Careem comparatively

Develop both industry specific and general market analysis and deliver these to stakeholders (strategy team, markets) to help them make informed growth decisions

Help translate insights into action through decision making frameworks and analytical guidance to help drive actionability of projects

Gather and use data from various internal and external sources , turn them into insights that will help the central strategy team and Mountain Peak teams realize the opportunities
Reporting

The role reports into Head of Customer Insights. Dotted line reporting in PAK (TDB with Zeeshan Baig & Shazad Jamal)
Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree
-
Ability to influence- by providing recommendations and influence decision making
-
People management - good to have
-
Ability to manage stakeholder and be the gatekeeper for industry trends and competitor analysis

Comprehensive computer skills including database searching, Power Point, word processing, spreadsheet analysis and online research

Ability to articulate research questions and form hypotheses, review and synthesize existing literature

Ability to formulate research designs and data/measurement requirements, collect, manipulate, and integrate data sources and communicate results effectively

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the organisation

Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast paced , constantly evolving team environment and ability to navigate through ambiguity and work independently
