About the role*

We are looking for a Project Manager ideally with Business Analysis and workforce management background for small scale projects. Mainly your day-to-day responsibilities will be involved but not limited to.

About you*

Manage the technical team members working on several internal initiatives and projects.

• Work with the technical team members to review the existing backlog and assign the roles and responsibilities accordingly.

• Manage the technical team member Project onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Manage the internal workforce team and project in an agile work environment.

• Conduct daily standups with the team and update the senior leadership team. Practice leads accordingly.

• Carefully review the workforce allocation tool to keep an eye on all the available resources and team members.

• Plan the activities, internal tasks or other PMO related activities proactively after consultation with the management and the team members.

• Update the status of the workforce to the senior management during weekly status calls.

• Follow the processes and practices already established and suggest any areas of improvement which can make the overall delivery of internal projects and workforce management better.

• Regularly review the internal task board and consult with the project delivery team managers for backlog grooming and set the priorities.

• Should be able to work independently as well as with the team and take 100% ownership of his/her tasks working as a Workforce/Project Manager.

• This role will also require involvement in PMO related activities.

• Work with the delivery team to understand their needs and requirements to develop templates or artifacts which can make project delivery more robust.

• Work in coordination with other support departments like Marketing, HR and Recruitment in helping them create templates, artifacts, blogs, case studies and customer profiles.

• Work with PMO Delivery head to set up a project governance structure, policies and practices for project delivery.

Essential Skills*

*
At least 5 years of Project management experience on working with small scale projects.

• Must have excellent communication skills and should be an active listener

• Must be able to understand requirements and document them properly based on FAIR ways of working

• Have a Business analysis background

• Experience in managing a group technical team members from workforce management perspective

• Must have experience in working in agile work environment

• Knowledge of SCRUM/Kanban framework for project delivery

• Team management skills is a key for this role

• Should have experience in working with a multicultural team

• Should be able to discuss challenges or problems openly with the team management

• Must be able to communicate effectively with all level of stakeholders within the company
