A unique opportunity has arisen for an energetic Key Account Manager to play a lead role in building a new online used car marketplace in Pakistan. VavaCars is setting out to revolutionize the way cars are traded, by creating the world's most trusted car transaction platform. Headquartered in London, with initial locations across Pakistan and Turkey, we are creating a digi-physi brand rooted in transparency, innovation, simplicity, modernity and togetherness.

Reporting to Dealer Network Manager, this is a core role in our sales team. We are in vibrant start-up mode and so you will have the opportunity to strongly contribute and be a key player in our organization. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop as we scale the business, allowing for exciting scope for personal and professional growth.

As this is a highly impactful roles in our Pakistan office you will work best when things move fast. Working as part of a well-funded and highly ambitious start-up unit, your role will be a hands-on role with real responsibility and impact from day one.

Requirements

You will be responsible for growing our dealer database and on boarding new dealerships. You will have daily contact with managers and owners of used car dealers or the used car dealership departments of car dealerships.

You will;

  • Manage and follow up with leads from our Sales team
  • Maintain a large lead pipeline to ensure monthly and quarterly goals are met
  • Sign up dealerships to the VavaCars platform
  • Build relationships with dealerships' owners and used car managers by visiting their location, and maintaining regular communication with them
  • Drive, guide and assist dealerships in using our platform
  • Manage and close car transactions
  • Daily reporting on field work and show desirable progress to management when required. Preferably daily day closing report on the key performance indicators.
  • Regular field visits to key customers and listening to their concerns, provide support and ensure participation in auctions.
  • Work closely with the operations and sales teams to advocate for the dealership needs to develop retention and engagement.
  • Supporting the development of the platform and providing direction by providing customer feedback and following up the activities in the market.
  • Following vehicle trends in the market closely and sharing feedback.

Functional Experience:

  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of 2-3 years in the used-car industry
  • Sales experience with track record of achieving business targets
  • Wholesale car retail experience is desirable
  • Skill in communication, building relationships, and verbal negotiation strategies
  • Excellent English amp; Urdu (Written and Verbal) language skills
