Job Purpose:

Inspecting and analyzing materials, in-process batches and/or finished products ensuring that QC methods, instrumentation and procedures meet cGMP, EHS, QMS, SOPs, Corporate requirement and regulatory standards.

Educational Requirement:

Minimum Level of Education: MSc/BS

Area of Specialization: Microbiology

Experience Requirement:

• Fresh graduate or with minimum 1-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or related field
• Technical knowledge in various activities of Microbiology Lab
• Good communication skills
• Computer skills

Job Description:

• Providing analytical support to Sterility Section and MLT Sections
• Sterility Testing of Ophthalmic ointments
• Environmental Monitoring of Sterility Testing Suite
• Bio-burden testing of Disinfectants of Sterility testing Suite
• To perform Media fertility of MLT media and Sterility testing
• Providing analytical support to Performing and manage assigned laboratory duties.
• Perform MLT of raw materials, non-sterile bulk and finished products, and packaging components
• Microbiological Analysis of Potable and DI
• Trending of water results and preparation of review reports
• Ensure to perform tests according to GSK specification to meet the schedule
• Check, maintain and reviewing analytical records
• Perform ATM validations for MLT of Products and prepare review reports
• Ensure timely test registration on LIMS
• Handling of Deviations, Change controls and Level 1 and Level 2 Audits through QWF
• Maintenance of Performance Board
• Performing tests and Documenting results as per GSK standards
• Any additional task assigned by the departmental manager/ Section Incharge
• Responsible for attending related meetings in the absence of Manager Microbiology
• Following EHS standards and guidelines, attend workshops and adhere to SOPs
• Compliance to corporate, HR/IT policies
